The Star reported today that ceramic tiles manufacturer White Horse has raised tile prices. Below is an extract from the article.
BUTTERWORTH: White Horse Ceramic Industries Sdn Bhd has increased the price of its tiles by 10% in an effort to cushion the recent fuel and electricity tariff hikes.
Its tiles were now priced between RM2.20 and RM12 per sq ft, said White Horse Marketing Sdn Bhd assistant general manager Raymond Loo.
The companies are subsidiaries of White Horse Bhd, one of the country's leading ceramic tile manufacturers.
The group might see slower sales growth this year but with the slight price increase, “we should be able to sustain ourselves,” Loo said before closing the Ceramic World Tile Trends workshop recently.
