Living room

A Victorian-themed house in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, is featured in The Star. The owners of the semi-detached house set aside RM500,000 for renovation, furniture and fittings. Out of that amount, some RM250,000 was for the contractor and RM200,000 was spent on the furniture.

An extract from the article:
Upon entering the house, all is calm with an aura of luxury enveloping the visitor. Elaborate furnishings matched with prints of European masterpieces on the wall proclaim in no short measure, a Victorian setting in the living room. Natural wood and rust colours, gilt picture frames, golden light from chandeliers and shades of yellow for the walls set the tone. Plush red velvet curtains complete the grand look.

If ignorance is bliss, this lesson would appear to be a deliberate attempt on your part to deprive me of happiness, the pursuit of which is my unalienable right according to the declaration of independence. I therefore assert my patriotic prerogative not to know this material. I'll be out in the playground. - Calvin and Hobbes
