There are right ways to do a renovation and there are wrong ways. Below is an actual example of how not to do a renovation.
Recently, I came across a blog about a family who did their renovation with no regards to their neighbours. Quote: ...had unilaterally decided to cover up the open space of a common wall separating the car porches outside his terraced house without any prior consultation, discussion nor have obtain any consent or agreement from the affected party living next to them.
Furthermore, this renovation was done without any approval from Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam (MBSA).
