Finding yourself short of cash for your renovation? Bank Rakyat (Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Bhd) and interior designer Casa Impian Sdn Bhd will be glad to help with their interesting personal loan called Personal Financing i-Aslah Purchase Plus.
What this means is that customers will be able to take a loan from Bank Rakyat by engaging Casa Impian for their interior design and renovation work. The minimum amount for the loan is RM50,000 to a maximum of RM150,000. The interest rate is stated to be as low as 4.9% per annum and monthly installment as low as RM53. Repayment period is up to 15 years for qualified applicants.
Those outside Klang Valley are out of luck at the moment since Bank Rakyat will initially only offer this financing facility for those in the Klang Valley. Reason given is that this product involves detailed consultation and layout presentation to each applicant.
